Programs Fall Apart

About

Hey there, I’m Amira (ah-mee-rah).

I started in mathematics, the kind where everything is provable and nothing decays. Then I stumbled into software engineering, where everything decays and very little is provable. I stayed anyway.

I don’t claim mastery over any of this. I’m a curious programmer with a skeptical mind and a habit of pulling on threads until the whole thing unravels. Most of what you’ll find here was written on those nights, you know the ones, when a quick fix spirals into three hours of asking why, and by the time you look up, the coffee beside you has gone cold and the room is different.

This isn’t a place for answers. It’s where I write things down before I forget the shape of them. I’ll get things wrong. That’s part of it.

If something here made you pause, even for a second, I’m a comment, an email, or a twitter (opens in new tab)* away. I’d like to know your name too.

* Yes, I know it's called X now. No, I will not be calling it that.
